The Color Q app is used to quantify the presence of chromoproteins or other colored reporters in order to detect various pathogens. It works in conjunction with the Chrom-Q hardware, also developed by Lambert iGEM, which is a 5x5 array covered by a lit dome in order to enable pictures of the samples to be taken. The app records the relative HSV values in order to show the extent to which the pathogen exists. The user is able to enter data and then this data is stored in an AWS MySQL database, which can be used to display data points on a Google Earth Pro map.
